I help individuals develop a personalized yoga practice / SADHANA
My aim is to guide each person in creating a practice which feels accessible, unique to their body, and fits within their lifestyle. After the practice is developed, I offer ongoing support to maintain consistency, shift things as needed, and answer questions along the way.
My hope is to incorporate the essence of yoga into daily life so it feels supportive. The idea is NOT to have one more thing to do to "be better". You're good enough already, and, it can only help to have more options to draw from to feel a greater sense of ease in the body, mind and spirit.
Check with me about rates.

I have worked as a yoga and meditation instructor in Portland, Oregon and Tucson, Arizona in venues ranging from athletic clubs to yoga studios to community centers to faith-based centers. As an early childhood education instructor, I had many a yoga session with toddlers and preschoolers.
I have worked with underserved communities and the aging population through the Friendly House in Portland, Oregon (https://fhpdx.org). I have worked with people in recovery from substance use through Living Yoga (https://www.facebook.com/livingyogaor/).
My joy in teaching yoga is helping folks know themselves better, and in so doing, develop self-love and compassion.
Imagine a pine tree standing in the yard. If that pine tree were to ask us what it should do, what the maximum is a pine tree can do to help the world, our answer would be very clear: "You should be a beautiful, healthy pine tree. You help the world by being your best." That is true for humans also. The basic thing we can do to help the world is to be healthy, solid, loving, and gentle to ourselves. Then when people look at us, they will gain confidence. They will say, "If she can do that, I can do that too!"
